Pull the meaning forward.

I went through past notes on this site and shortened some. Editing like this pulls the meaning forward, and makes notes easier to read. Otherwise, we risk hiding too little meaning behind too many words.

This is partly a response to AI writing, which tends to let the meaning suffocate under too much prose and weird clickbait-inspired constructions.

I also like editing. It's like getting an overdue haircut. Afterwards, I can see a little better than before.
